         About Me

                   Diana R. Jenkins is the author of hundreds of magazine stories, comic strips, plays, and books for children and teens. Her work has been published in Highlights for Children, Pockets, My Friend, Encounter, and many other magazines. Her books of kids' plays, Just Deal With It -- Funny Readers Theatre For Life's Not-So-Funny Moments, and All Year Long -- Funny Readers Theatre For Life's Special Times are available from Teacher Ideas Press.  Pauline Books and Media  has published several of Diana's books including Goodness Graces! Ten Short Stories About the Sacraments, Spotlight on Saints - A Year of Funny Readers Theater for Today's Catholic Kids, Stepping Stones - The Comic Collection, The Stepping Stones Journals, and Saints of Note - The Comic Collection. Diana has also contributed to other Pauline books including Celebrate the Season!           Diana earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a reading specialist master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After twenty-plus years as a special education teacher, she became a freelance writer. She lives in Montgomery, Ohio, with her husband, a medical physicist, and an energetic dog.
